Frequently Asked Questions
Our Luxury Picnic Packages come with a complimentary mini iPhone photography session that will be delivered digitally within 1 week of your picnic.
For an additional charge, we offer a professional photo session with 20-30 photographs which will be edited and sent digitally with three weeks of your picnic. Pricing can be found here.
Photographs will be taken in one session at the start of your picnic (does not apply to Proposal Package Photos).
Where are you located?
We are based out of Fort Myers, FL and we serve the surrounding Southwest Florida area. Locations outside a 90 mile radius of Fort Myers will require review & travel fees may be assessed based on distance.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We request that picnics be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Bookings fill up fast and we highly recommend booking even farther in advance to guarantee your preferred date & time. We will do our best to accommodate last minute requests but it will depend on availability of our staff.
When do I pay?
All bookings require a $50 deposit to reserve your date & time. Your deposit will be applied to your total amount due which must be paid at least 48 hours before your scheduled picnic.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that unexpected things happen. Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds. Instead, we will work with you to reschedule your picnic with no additional booking deposit if rescheduled within 3 months of your original picnic date and a 48 hour cancellation notice is given.
What happens if there is bad weather?
If the forecast predicts poor weather conditions, Pics & Picnics LLC will not assemble items outdoors. Since we do not provide refunds, we can either look into other arrangements for covered locations, or reschedule for a later date. You will have up until 48 hours prior to your picnic to decide which option you would like to choose. If you choose to reschedule, it must be within 3 months of your original date to avoid an additional booking deposit.
Late arrivals are accepted with the understanding that the original end time remains the same. Please notify us as soon as possible if you will be arriving late to your picnic. We will be as flexible as possible.
Are food & beverages included?
We do provide water for all guests, but food & other beverages are not included. You may bring your own or we offer a pick-up option for $15, you'll place the order from your favorite spot and we'll pick it up! Alternatively, we can provide food from local businesses for an additional charge. We'd be happy to make recommendations and will do our best to accommodate any special requests.
Is alcohol allowed?
Alcohol is prohibited on all beaches in Lee & Collier County; most public parks and beaches prohibit alcohol consumption. We do not offer alcoholic beverages. It is the responsibility of the Client to check alcohol laws of any space being used for one of our picnics. Pics & Picnics LLC takes no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties incurred.
Should I include children in the guest count?
If you're planning a picnic for a group of adults and young children, it can be hard to know if the kids ‘count.’ We leave that decision up to you- if you’d like a place setting and seating for them, then yes, regular rates apply.
